On Saturday, April 28, 2019, at approximately 2:03 a.m., the Sacramento Police Department responded to the area of Alhambra Boulevard and T Street regarding a major vehicle collision. Officers determined that a vehicle collided into a bicyclist and the involved vehicle fled the scene. The bicyclist involved in this collision was injured and is currently in critical condition. After further follow-up investigation, detectives have located video footage of the involved vehicle prior to the collision. The vehicle is described as a Nissan sedan (see attached images of the suspect vehicle).
The investigation remains active and the Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community’s help in providing any information related to this investigation. Any witnesses with information regarding this hit and run collision are encouraged to contact the dispatch center at (916) 808-5471 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Witnesses may also submit an anonymous tip using the free “P3 Tips” smartphone app. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
