The Sacramento Police Department is proud to announce the graduation of the 6^th Annual SPD Community Engagement Academy. For the last seven weeks, sixteen community members and faith-based leaders have been a part of this academy.

The academy is designed to engage local pastors and community members to improve community relationships, and to develop trust.  The participants will be graduating from the Community Engagement Academy, tonight. A resource fair is being held prior to graduation, bringing community-based organizations to meet, network and distribute their valuable resource materials to the graduates and their friends and families.

On behalf of the Sacramento Police Department, you are cordially invited to join us tonight in congratulating this class at their graduation ceremony. The graduation will be held tonight at the Public Safety Center, 5770 Freeport Boulevard, in the Crump-Allen Atrium, and will begin at 7:00 p.m.
