Today, the Sacramento Police Department is releasing audio and video related to the death in custody investigation that occurred on May 28, 2019, in the 1800 block of Glenrose Avenue. Click here to view the original press release.
The death in custody continues to be investigated by the Sacramento Police Department’s Homicide Unit. The release of the audio / video related to this incident falls under the City Council policy on police release of video.
The material in today’s release consists of five body-worn camera (BWC) videos, two in-car camera (ICC) videos, one police audio file and five surveillance videos. As we continue to gather information related to this incident, more material may be available.
All video and audio being released has been redacted to ensure the confidentiality and privacy of those involved. The faces have been blurred and audio redactions are signified by muted audio with no accompanying sound.
