The Sacramento Police Department is proud to announce the graduation of Academy Class 19BR-1.  

The graduating class consists of 56 recruits, 36 of which are sworn to serve our community. The remaining recruits will begin their career working for outside agencies throughout the region. 

We are dedicated in continuing our efforts in having a police force that reflects the community we serve.  Our high standards will always remain the same to ensure we have a team of men and women representing our department who are professional, dedicated and courageous. 

We congratulate all the recruits and look forward having them serve our community and in the surrounding areas.

Following the tragic loss of one of our own, the Sacramento Police Department will draw from the strength and courage of Officer Tara O’Sullivan as we honor Academy Class 19BR-1.
