The life of Officer Tara O’Sullivan will be honored in a law enforcement memorial service to be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. The law enforcement memorial service will be held at Bayside Adventure Church located at 6401 Stanford Ranch Road, Roseville CA, 95678.
An overflow venue located on the Bayside Adventure Church property will be provided for the general public attending the event.
Doors open to the public at 9:00 a.m.
In anticipation of a capacity crowd at Bayside Adventure Church, a secondary viewing location for the public will be available at Destiny Christian Church located at 6900 Destiny Drive, Rocklin, CA, 95677.
At the conclusion of the memorial service, the vehicle procession will travel from Bayside Adventure Church, back to the Elk Grove area. The procession is expected to leave Bayside Church at 1:15 p.m. and arrive back in the Elk Grove area at 2:30 p.m.
The final procession will travel westbound on Interstate 80 until the Marysville Boulevard exit. The procession will proceed southbound on Marysville Boulevard, passing Officer Tara O’Sullivan’s police station, the William J. Kinney Police Facility (3550 Marysville Boulevard). The procession will then travel east on Arcade Boulevard until the Capital City Freeway. Once at the freeway, the procession will continue westbound, onto southbound Interstate 99, until reaching the Elk Grove area. Once in the Elk Grove area, the procession will travel to private events restricted to the O’Sullivan family and Law Enforcement Personnel.
The Sacramento Police Department encourages the community to honor Tara’s memory and commitment to our city by coming out and showing support as the procession travels through North Sacramento.
Please expect major traffic delays along the procession route and plan accordingly.
