Today, the Sacramento Police Department is releasing audio and video related to the

trespassing incident that occurred on July 2, 2019, in the 500 block of David J Stern Walk. Click here to view the original press release. On July 4, 2019, the male adult subject involved in this incident passed away while receiving medical treatment at a local hospital.

This incident continues to be investigated by the Sacramento Police Department. The release of the audio / video related to this incident falls under the City Council policy on police release of video.

The material in today’s release consists of six body-worn camera (BWC) videos, two in-car camera (ICC) videos, four police audio files and 11 surveillance videos. All video and audio being released has been redacted to ensure the confidentiality and privacy of those involved. The faces have been blurred and audio redactions are signified by muted audio with no accompanying sound. Click here for a link to the material.
