Traffic Advisory - AFTERSHOCK 2019

The Aftershock Festival returns to Sacramento the weekend of October 11-13th at Discovery Park.  The event has expanded this year to include Friday October 11th.  The concert starts each day at noon and is expected to attract over 30,000 attendees.  The event will end each night by 10pm.

Traffic congestion and delays will occur in the Garden Highway and Richards Blvd corridors.   Parking in these areas is extremely limited, especially on Friday prior to 5 p.m.

The Sacramento Police Department encourages attendees to use alternative transportation methods to limit traffic congestion for ingress and egress for the event.

These are some of the following alternative methods that may be used:

-Shuttle service departing from Sleep Train Arena (see event website for details)

-Regional Transit bus and train service will be free for event ticket holders.  There will also be a free shuttle that departs from 8th Street and K Street to the event entrance.

-SacPark.org also has parking spaces available in the downtown area that may be reserved online.  These parking areas are near Regional Transit stops.

The rideshare pick-up/drop-off area for the event has been designated as Bercut Drive between Richards Boulevard and North 3rd Street.

Please visit www.aftershockfestival.com for additional information and specifics on parking and getting to the event.
