Last month the Sacramento Police Department asked for the community’s assistance in helping to identify a package thief who was caught on multiple private surveillance cameras stealing packages. The suspect is believed to be responsible for several package thefts in the North Natomas area over that week.
Investigators have been diligently working on this case and have identified the suspect as 21-year-old Kevin Waterman. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Waterman is known to drive a grey Ford Focus with black rims.
The Sacramento Police Department would like to thank the community as their efforts in this case were instrumental in providing leads for investigators which ultimately identified a suspect. Community members also provided an abundance of video surveillance which was crucial in helping our investigators develop leads in this case. This investigation highlights the collaborative efforts of the community working together with the police department to solve crimes.
