The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for burglary and indecent exposure. Detectives believe there may be potential witnesses who may have observed the suspect around the time of the incident.
On Saturday, January 25, 2020, at approximately 6:08 a.m., officers responded to a report of a prowler in the 4800 block of U Street. The victim reported she heard a sound outside of her residence. Shortly after a male entered the residence through a door, and exposed himself. The victim immediately called 9-1-1. When officers arrived on scene the suspect fled out the back door of the residence.
Responding officers initiated an extensive search of the area, however the suspect was not located. The suspect was last seen fleeing northbound from the 4800 block of U Street.
Crime Scene Investigators responded to process the scene and collect evidence. Officers also conducted a neighborhood canvass to locate witnesses and surveillance footage.
The suspect is described as a male, Hispanic, late 20’s to early 30’s years old, 5’8 to 5’10. He is described as having almond shaped eyes, a smooth face, short dark hair and spoke English with a thick Spanish accent. The suspect was wearing a gray shirt around his neck, black women’s underwear, dark pants and no shoes. (See photo below)
