Sacramento Police Department detectives are attempting to identify a suspect wanted for an armed robbery that occurred in December of 2019. Detectives are releasing a screenshot of surveillance footage, and are asking anybody who recognizes the suspect to contact the Sacramento Police Department.
On December 20, 2019 at approximately 9:00 p.m., an armed robbery occurred at a business in the 1600 block of West El Camino Avenue. The suspect began to conceal merchandise on his person. When he was confronted by employees, he displayed a handgun and threatened employees. The suspect fled on a black bicycle eastbound towards Truxel Road.
The suspect is described as a male, white, in his 20’s, with medium length brown hair. He was wearing a light-colored hat with the California Bear on it, and a red and black plaid hooded sweatshirt.
The Sacramento Police Department encourages anybody with information regarding this robbery to contact the dispatch center at (916) 264-5471 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000. Anonymous tips can also be submitted using the free “P3 Tips” smartphone app.
