The Sacramento Police Department is proud to announce the graduation of Academy Class 20BR-1. Academy staff implemented innovative measures to ensure that this academy class was able to be safely completed throughout the COVID -19 pandemic.

The graduating class consists of 47 recruits, 26 of which were sworn in to serve with the Sacramento Police Department. The remaining recruits will begin their career working for outside agencies throughout the region.

We are dedicated to having a police department that reflects the community we serve.  The Sacramento Police Department takes pride in having high standards to ensure we have a team of graduates representing our department who are professional, dedicated and courageous.

We congratulate all of the newly sworn officers, deputies and community service officers and look forward to their service in their communities.
