The Sacramento Police Department has made a significant arrest in a homicide case involving a fentanyl overdose. On October 9, 2024, 31-year-old Kyle Firebaugh was taken into custody and later booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on charges of homicide and felony narcotics sales. The victim, 32-year-old Bianca Bewley, died from a fentanyl overdose in December 2023.
Bianca was discovered deceased in her home in the 5900 block of 34th Ave on December 10, 2023. Firebaugh, who had been in communication with the victim about fentanyl in the days leading up to her death, admitted to supplying narcotics and was found to have purchased a substantial amount of fentanyl just hours before Bianca's passing.
This arrest highlights the ongoing and exceptional work of Sacramento Police Department Detectives in tackling narcotics-related crimes and the growing danger of fentanyl in our community.
