On Sunday, October 27, 2024, just after 11:00 p.m., Sacramento Police Department patrol officers responded to the 2000 Block of West El Camino Avenue for reports of a shooting. Responding officers located an adult male, a juvenile male, and a juvenile female each with at least one gunshot wound. Officers provided emergency medical aid to the victims until Sacramento Fire Personnel arrived on scene. The male victims unfortunately succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased on scene. The female victim was transported to an area hospital and is currently in stable condition. 

Due to the circumstances, homicide detectives and crime scene investigators responded to take over the investigation. They will be processing the scene, canvassing the area, and interviewing witnesses. The circumstances of the incident remain under investigation. No arrests have been made and there is no suspect information to provide at this time. 

The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased after next of kin have been notified.
