On Monday, April 14, 2025, at around 7:00 p.m., Sacramento Police Department officers responded to reports of a suspicious death at an apartment in the 3300 Block of W Street. The Sacramento Fire Department requested our department to respond out for an adult female they found deceased in an apartment.

Due to the circumstances, Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators were called out to take over the investigation. They processed the scene, collected evidence, and interviewed witnesses. Based on the information we have at this time, our investigators believe the woman died as a result of homicide and we are asking anyone with any information regarding this incident to contact the Sacramento Police Department. We do not have any suspect information to release at this time.

The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased after next-of-kin have been notified.
