On Thursday, May 1, 2025, just after 10:30 p.m., Sacramento Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 4300 block of Armadale Way. Responding officers located an adult male with at least one gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene by Fire personnel.

Due to the circumstances, Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators were called out to take over the investigation. They will be processing the scene, collecting evidence, and interviewing witnesses. The circumstances of the incident remain under investigation. There is no suspect information to release at this time.

The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased after next-of-kin have been notified.
