On Monday, June 16, 2025, just after 08:00 a.m., Sacramento Police Department patrol officers responded to the 3100 block of Wiese Way for a report of an assault involving a weapon. Responding officers located one male adult suspect and detained him on scene. Officers also located one male adult victim with blunt force injuries. Sacramento Fire Personnel arrived and pronounced the male victim deceased on scene.

Due to the circumstances, Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to take over the investigation. They processed the scene, canvassed the area, and began interviewing witnesses. The circumstances of the incident remain under investigation.

The suspect, 25-year-old Hadrian Walker of Sacramento was arrested and will be booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail for homicide related charges.

The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased after next of kin have been notified.
