The Sacramento Police Department (SPD), in partnership with Downtown Commons (DOCO), is proud to announce the opening of a new SPD Bike Unit office located at 320 K Street in the heart of downtown.

This new facility provides SPD Officers a dedicated location to deploy from within the downtown core. The office enhances SPD’s ability to remain connected and responsive to the community while maintaining an active presence in one of Sacramento’s most dynamic areas.  

“This partnership with DOCO represents a shared commitment to supporting a vibrant downtown environment,” said SPD Sergeant Dan Wiseman. “Having this dedicated space allows our officers to operate more efficiently and remain closely connected to the community they serve.”

The partnership reflects the continued coordination between SPD and DOCO to promote safety, accessibility, and engagement in the downtown area.

The SPD Bike Unit will be fully operational from this location by early 2026. The department and DOCO look forward to the continued collaboration that strengthens connections between law enforcement, local businesses, and the greater Sacramento community.
