On November 3rd, 2019, at approximately 7:21 p.m., the Sacramento Police Department responded to a shooting near the intersection of Northgate Boulevard and Wisconsin Avenue. This shooting resulted in a double homicide.

During the preliminary investigation, officers conducted a canvass for witnesses. Through this canvass, homicide detectives were provided with information that they were able to follow-up on. Based on the information received, and a thorough investigation by detectives, 20-year-old Daniel Robinson and 18-year-old Anthony Jones were identified as the suspects in this homicide.
Earlier this week, Robinson and Jones were arrested on homicide charges. They are currently in custody at the Sacramento County Main Jail.
This arrest highlights the collaborative effort between the community, and Sacramento Police Department detectives, to solve a violent crime. Detectives believe this shooting to be an isolated incident.

Witnesses may also submit an anonymous tip using the free “P3 Tips” smartphone app. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
