The Sacramento Police Department remains committed to protecting our business community during these unique times. In addition to increased patrols, and amending dispatch procedures for business burglary alarms, SPD has also created an online business registry. This registry will help streamline the communication process between business partners and their area command staff so that we are able to address their specific needs. Also, through this communication process, area command staff can easily provide updated information about prevention strategies and crime trends.

Following the county-wide Stay at Home Order issued on March 19th, the Sacramento Police Department initially identified a slight upward trend in business burglaries which is in line, with nationwide trends. However, during the past two weeks both business burglaries and incidents of vandalism have declined. Please follow the link below to view these statistics:
