UPDATE - Sacramento Police Department detectives have been diligently investigating this homicide since it occurred. During the investigation, detectives identified 34-year-old Durbin Paguadavasquez as a suspect. On June 15, 2023, Paguadavasquez was located by Sacramento Police Department detectives and taken into custody. He was booked at the Sacramento County Main Jail on homicide charges.

UPDATE - Investigators have been working tirelessly to process all of the evidence and facts surrounding this collision. On 6/7/2023, Detectives from the Sacramento Police Department’s Major Collision Investigations Unit obtained an arrest warrant for 28-year-old Precious Flowers of Sacramento. On 06/11/2023, Sacramento Police Department patrol officers located Flowers in the 4000 block of Stockton Boulevard where she was arrested on three counts of Vehicular Manslaughter with Gross Negligence and nine counts of Child Endangerment. Additional charges may be forthcoming as the collision remains under investigation. She was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail. We have no further information to release at this time.
