UPDATE - In the evening of December 28, 2023, 38-year-old Michael Harris of Sacramento was booked into the Sacramento County Jail on gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI related charges.

UPDATE - Detectives have been relentless in finding the individual responsible for the murder of the victim in this case. Through their investigation, detectives identified 23-year-old Malik Wilson of Sacramento as the suspect. In the evening of November 15, 2023, Sacramento Police Department Detectives arrested Wilson for homicide-related charges.

UPDATE - Detectives have been working tirelessly to locate the individual responsible for the murder of the victim in this case. Through their investigation, detectives identified 32-year-old Diamond Moore of Sacramento County as the suspect. In the evening of November 27, 2023, with the assistance of the Reno Police Department, Moore was arrested in Reno, NV for homicide-related charges. Sacramento Police Detectives identified a second suspect in this case to be 40-year-old Angel Moore of Sacramento County. With the assistance from our federal partners from the FBI, Angel Moore was located in Chicago, IL. On December 12, 2023, SPD Homicide Detectives flew out to Chicago to take Angela into custody.

UPDATE - In the early morning of September 14, 2023, Sacramento Police Detectives arrested 32 year old Corey Harrison of Sacramento for homicide related charges.

UPDATE - On 9/19/2023, Sacramento Police Department Detectives arrested 43-year-old Amatari Mabinton for Homicide related charges with the assistance Elk Grove PD SWAT.

UPDATE - On August 17, 2023, Officers responded to reports of a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision. The vehicle involved fled the scene and the pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene. Our Major Collision Investigation Unit responded and immediately began investigating what happened. Detectives worked tirelessly to determine who was responsible. Investigators not only identified the vehicle that was involved, through their tenacious work, they were also able to identify who the driver was. A warrant was issued for the suspect's arrest. On August 29, 2024, officers arrested 41-year-old Cecil Belton of Sacramento on felony hit-and-run resulting in death and other related charges. This is yet another example of the dedication of the men and women of the Sacramento Police Department to provide justice to victim's families.

UPDATE - On August 14, 2023, Sacramento Police Detectives arrested 39 year old Vincent Saenz of Sacramento for homicide related charges.

UPDATE - Sacramento Police Department detectives have been diligently investigating this homicide since it occurred. During the investigation, detectives identified 34-year-old Durbin Paguadavasquez as a suspect. On June 15, 2023, Paguadavasquez was located by Sacramento Police Department detectives and taken into custody. He was booked at the Sacramento County Main Jail on homicide charges.

UPDATE - Investigators have been working tirelessly to process all of the evidence and facts surrounding this collision. On 6/7/2023, Detectives from the Sacramento Police Department’s Major Collision Investigations Unit obtained an arrest warrant for 28-year-old Precious Flowers of Sacramento. On 06/11/2023, Sacramento Police Department patrol officers located Flowers in the 4000 block of Stockton Boulevard where she was arrested on three counts of Vehicular Manslaughter with Gross Negligence and nine counts of Child Endangerment. Additional charges may be forthcoming as the collision remains under investigation. She was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail. We have no further information to release at this time.

Through their investigation, detectives identified 49-year-old Diego Flores of Sacramento as the suspect. On August 28th, 2023, Sacramento Police Department Homicide Detectives booked Flores for homicide-related charges. Flores was already in custody at the Sacramento County Main Jail for other cases.

UPDATE - Thanks to the quick work of detectives assigned to our Homicide, Family Abuse, and Career Criminal Apprehension Teams, 32-year-old Miguel Gamboa was safely arrested in West Sacramento on April 4, 2023. Gamboa has been charged with a violation of California Penal Code Section 187 (Homicide) and was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
