UPDATE - Homicide suspect Avery Draughty, 31, was taken into custody in Rancho Cordova the morning of 3/14/15 by the Rancho Cordova Police Department. Draughty is believed to be responsible for the murder of 31-year-old Tiffany Silva who had been struck by gunfire during the incident, causing her death.

UPDATE - Detectives have arrested Arthur Bird, 40, for murder related to this case. Bird was located by officers in the area of the unresponsive victim and is believed to be responsible for the deadly physical assault. The victim and suspect were known to each other and no other individuals are believed to have been involved.

UPDATE - Ms. Maldonado was located Monday afternoon by patrol officers. She is well and was taken to an area hospital as a precaution.

UPDATE - William Howe in now home safe and sound. He was found near Arden and Watt by family members.

UPDATE - Both defendants in this case were found not guilty of all charges as of 7/31/15.

UPDATE - On Thursday, September 12, 2013, 27-year-old Tiana Smith-Anderson was located by SacPD’s Career Criminal Apprehension Team and charged with the murder of 84-year-old Singh Singh. Smith–Anderson is believed to have stabbed Singh multiple times causing his death.

UPDATE - Cancel - missing mother and son have been located and are unharmed.

UPDATE - Missing person Reggie Hodge has been located unharmed and is reportedly in the care of an area hospital.

UPDATE - Cancel Missing Person report; 16-year-old MP Chase Felgenhauer has been located unharmed in Little Rock, Arkansas. Little Rock PD is currently assisting in reuniting Chase with his family.

UPDATE - 78-year-old Missing Person Anh Phan has been located unharmed. Family noticed him walking in the area of Arden Way and Howe Ave and notified police that Anh was safe.

UPDATE - The suspect is still outstanding however, the vehicle has been recovered and detectives are still investigating.

UPDATE - On May 15, 2013, Knecht was charged with two additional counts of burglary. Detectives recovered additional stolen property from Knecht’s home taken during two separate burglaries to the same location. The Burglaries were to a closed business in the 800 block of 57th Street that occurred on May 4, 2013 and May 8, 2013 in the early morning hours. Most all property was recovered.

UPDATE - Later this morning, a female victim in her 20s admitted herself into an area hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to her lower extremity. She is the third victim from the incident.

UPDATE - On Friday, February 8, 2013, at approximately 8:28 p.m. officers responded to assist with locating an at-risk missing person from Lane County Oregon. Officers followed up and located missing person Bedria Williams, unharmed, at a residence in a neighboring jurisdiction. Nothing appeared suspicious and Bedria was reunited with her family.

UPDATE - MP Christian Lopez has been located unharmed! A witness recognized Christian from a missing person bulletin and called police who responded to the area and located the MP.

UPDATE - On Friday, January 4, 2013, a male and female associated with Carlito Montoya were arrested for assault with a deadly weapon related to this incident. Amber Scholz-36 is believed to have instigated the altercation and her husband Charles Fowler-Scholz-34, was involved in the physical fight that preceded the deadly shooting. No further details are available at this time.
