UPDATE - On 10/19/10, the sixteen year old victim was declared deceased. The shooting is now being investigated as a homicide.

UPDATE - Crime Scene Investigators have identified the suspect as 22-year-old Michael Mclaughlin. He has been located and arrested. A current photo of him was sent to media. Detectives are still trying to determine if he is linked to other incidents beyond the July 22nd occurrences.

UPDATE - Second suspect arrested today for the murder of Ryan Mcphee. Suspect 26-year-old Jonathan Montejano turned himself into police on June 21, 2010 at around 11:15 a.m.and was arrested later for murder. On June 24, 2010, Andre Huerta was cleared of murder charges as Montejano is believed to be the person who stabbed the victim during the altercation.
UPDATE - The father turned in the child at police headquarters on 7/6/10 and is in good condition. Father will be arrested on a warrant for custodial interference.
UPDATE - The suspect has been identified as Dewitt Turrentine, 37. He is wanted for the June 11, 2010 robbery but believed to be responsible for a total of 8 robberies. Turrentine has been arrested.

UPDATE - Sheriff's Deputies have located the missing person. MP was okay and found in the Sloughhouse area.
UPDATE - The father and step-mother have been arrested for endangering the the life of a child and inflicting corporal injury to a child. They are identified as 19-year-old Adrain McRath and 22-year-old Dayshawna Lawrence. On Thursday, March 25, it was reported that the 3-yr-old child had died at the hospital. On 3-26-10, murder charge was added to both subject.
UPDATE - Approx. 50 bikes were engraved. Great response by the community to play a part in stopping bicycle theft. Officers stayed an additional hour due to the overwelming community participation.
UPDATE - The suspect that died is id as 32-year-old Meng Xiong. His brother, 23-year-old, Zang Xiong was was arrested on Tues. K9 Bandit had surgery on tuesday and is in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing as to why the suspects committed the crime. *3-18-10 Bandit was released from the hospital. Thanks to the community for all their support and concern for Bandit.
UPDATE - The driver of the Lincoln has been located and is currently being charged with felony hit and run. The driver is identified as 25-year-old Omar Carrasco. The collision investigation is ongoing
UPDATE - A subsequent investigation revealed that this victim may have fallen and died as a result of the head injuries he received.
UPDATE - Family friends located the missing woman in the downtown area Friday night alittle after 8 p.m. The missing woman was okay.
UPDATE - The missing person was located Monday night in Rancho Cordova. He was located unharmed.
UPDATE - Police have identified a second victim of this scam which occurred on Feb 10. This scam normally targets the elderly so the Police are urging individuals to discuss this type of scam so this doesn't happen to someone you know.
UPDATE - This subject was identified by the California State University-Sacramento Police when they stopped a subject with stolen property. The subject matched the surveillance photo that was released. Subject was booked for burglary and ongoing investigation is underway to see if he is connected to other burglaries. Suspect is 29-year-old Gary Moreno.
UPDATE - Sacramento Police detectives have identified a subject responsible for the robbery. The male was identified based on a tip we received and was found to be in custody for unrelated charges in El Dorado County. The suspect is identified as 44-year-old Tony Low A warrant has been obtained for Low's arrest. Det will work with El Dorado Co to formally serve the warrant on Low.
UPDATE - Detectives received a Crime Alert tip on the suspect wearing the dark jacket. Further follow up evidence connected the subject to the crime. Suspect arrested was male 15 years old. Second suspect was also identified as a male 29 years old who lives in Fairfield. He was already in custody in Reno, NV on unrelated charges.
