UPDATE - The Sacramento Police Department has arrested 23-year-old Robert Neal-Anderson, for the murder of victim David Maxey of Sacramento. Investigators believe Neal-Anderson and the victim knew each other, however those details as well as a motive are still being investigated.
UPDATE - On September 25, 2009, detectives arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with this homicide.
UPDATE - On August 25, 2009, at approx. 5:00 p.m., suspect Stephen Dyser turned himself in to Police. Thanks to all the media for their coverage on this suspect who we believe posed a danger to the community.
UPDATE - On August 21, 2009, Detectives arrested the mother (Theresa Harper) for the murder of her 22 month old child. Paul Harper (father) will also be charged with murder. Autopsy concluded that the child died from blunt force trauma. It is believed that the father committed the physical abuse but that the mother was aware of and failed to prevent or report the ongoing abuse.
UPDATE - With the help from media exposure to this incident, the tractors were located and the suspect was arrested.
UPDATE - Over 50 citations were given for crosswalk violations. Two pedestrians were given jaywalking tickets as well. This operation was a huge success and we received a lot of positive feedback from the community.
UPDATE - This person was located OK early this morning (08-11-09), at a local shelter.
UPDATE - On July 22, 2009, at 3:50 a.m., the second victim, identified as 28-year-old Everett Taylor, died from his injuries at U.C. Davis Medical Center. The victim who died at the scene is being identified as 35-year-old Deshawn Holloway. The investigation is on-going and no further details are available at this time.
UPDATE - Cheng Thao was located. He was found walking on Hwy 50 and transported to the UCD Medical Center where he has been for a few days under the name of John Doe.

UPDATE - Missing man found by his daughter at Broadway/ 17th Street. The Department received information that the man was seen earlier in the day near UCD Med Center. The daughter went looking in this area and found the missing man in good health.
